Charles County Republican Central Committee will hold a dinner March 29. Larry Pratt, Gun Owners of America executive director, author and former Virginia state delegate, will be the keynote speaker along with introductory remarks by Charles Lollar, former Maryland state director of Americans for Prosperity. Charles County government offices, the Tri-County Animal Shelter in Hughesville, county senior citizen and community centers, Elite Gymnastics and Recreation Center, and Port Tobacco Recreation Center will be closed March 29 for the Good Friday holiday. The Crain Memorial Welcome Center, VanGO, the Charles County landfill in Waldorf, and the Pisgah recycling center and every-other-week curbside recycling service will operate normally. Henry E.
