The Charles County liquor board voted unanimously during a March 14 meeting to summon the owners Blue Bay Restaurant & Liquor Store in Waldorf to examine a failed license transfer.

At the November 2012 meeting, then-license holders Misty Lee Conner and Ranjeet K. Gill transferred their on- and off-site license to Geraldine McKevie and Reginald Saunders.

Following issues that arose during a criminal background check, the applicants did not proceed any further with the transfer and failed to appear at a hearing, instead sending the previous license holders.

Board member Wayne Magoon made the motion, and the item will be discussed during the April meeting.
