Prince George’s police release sketch of suspect in sexual assault of child -- Gazette.Net


Prince George’s County police released a composite sketch Tuesday of a suspect wanted for the sexual assault of a 7-year-old girl in Upper Marlboro.

The victim was assaulted in the Marlton neighborhood of Upper Marlboro on June 22, police said. According to police, the girl was riding alone on her scooter when she was taken into the woods and assaulted by the unidentified man.

Police noted that the suspect had a ball-shaped tongue piercing. The sketch information was given by the victim, said police spokesman Major Clinton Copeland.

The case is under investigation. Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity is asked to call Prince George’s County Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit at 301-772-4908.
