A tribute concert to celebrate the 101st birthday of legendary folksinger Woody Guthrie will be presented from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday at the Takoma Park Community Center, 7500 Maple Ave.

The performance will feature Joe Uehlein and the U-Liners, who combine rock ‘n’ roll, folk and country sounds in songs about hope, peace, justice, the environment and workers rights. The band members include Avril Smith on guitar, mandolin and vocals; Larry Ferguson on drums and other percussion; Mindy McWilliams on fiddle and vocals; and Barry Warsaw on bass.

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. Student tickets are $9 and $12.
