The College of Southern Maryland’s Twilight Performance Series continues with CSM Latin ensemble Ritmo Caché at 6:45 p.m. July 25 at the Prince Frederick campus, 115 J.W. Williams Road.
Ritmo Caché plays a variety of styles, including salsa, Afro-Cuban, Latin jazz, Latin pop, bossa nova, merengue and Tejano.
Membership in the band is open to students, college staff and community members. The ensemble meets each semester from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays and is directed by Stephen Johnson.
The band is seeking new members. No auditions are necessary. Beginners will receive on-the-job training, but musicians on brass, woodwind, piano, bass and guitar are expected to have some band or lesson experience.

Each week, the series features free performances on each campus. Bring a picnic with a lawn chair or blanket. No alcoholic beverages are allowed.
