The sights, sounds and smell of fall were in the air as the Cox Farms Fall Festival in Centreville opened for a preview this past weekend. There are dozens of fun options for visitors of every age. Children can feed goats, milk cows and pet bunnies as well as take a hayride with the whole family. It’s also easy to get lost in the Cornundrum, Cox’s multi-acre corn maze that packs a surprise around every turn. There’s also live music, giant slides, rope swings and, of course, plenty of pumpkins, pies and apple cider. The festival will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Sept. 28 to Oct. 31.
