Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) is scheduled to host a roundtable discussion at North Point High School in Waldorf tonight, Sept. 26.

The 6 p.m. “Better Choices, Better Results Forum — Education” is the second in a series of statewide forums that, according to a news release, aims to spark conversations on the O’Malley-Brown administration’s strategic goals.

According to the release, stakeholders from across the state will participate in discussion about progress and decisions made to help better the middle class and make the state a better place for children.

The forum will highlight key education initiatives, track progress on early childhood education, college and career readiness and college affordability, and foster an ongoing dialogue on Maryland’s public education system.

The event is open to the public. The school is at 2500 Davis Road.

The forum can be viewed via live stream at www.governor.maryland.gov/forums.html.
