On Monday, there appeared at the end of my driveway on my farm two huge blue monsters. What idiots thought of leaving them on my farm? I did not request them, have no need for them. I resent having my tax money spent on purchasing them. And these are not cheap items.
There are two houses on my farm: mine and my son’s. I am 82 years old, live a half-mile back in the woods on a dirt road. I use a cane because of arthritis, and I guess I am expected to fill this container up with cans and bottles (which would take several years) and get it back to the highway to be picked up.
Who were the idiots who authorized this expenditure? Having just paid half of my property tax bill, I resent most highly the spending of my limited funds on these big, blue trash containers. Whomever is responsible for this must be punished, either via a vote in the next election or an investigation by the proper department heads.
