A Hollywood man has been jailed on charging papers alleging he committed a second-degree assault last Friday on his wife, her stepfather and a law officer responding to the couple’s home, and that the suspect also attempted to disarm the lawman.
Paul A. Unkle, 37, was brought into a courtroom Monday wearing a sling over his right arm for a hearing on the assault charges, the charge of attempting to disarm a police officer and additional offenses of resisting arrest, the possession of marijuana and unlawfully possessing a firearm.
Charging papers allege that Unkle repeatedly punched Jessica Ann Unkle and also assaulted Kenneth Warren Abell at the home of Clarks Mill Road, before charging out of a wooded area and punching St. Mary’s sheriff’s Cpl. William Raddatz in the face.
