At 3:45 a.m. Dec. 30, Charles County sheriff’s officers were called to the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center for the report of a shooting victim in the emergency room.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a 19-year-old man who said he was leaving a party at an unknown address in the Fairway Village neighborhood of Waldorf when he heard three shots and noticed he had a gunshot wound to his hand.
