Montgomery County police are looking for a knife-wielding robber whom they’ve linked to heists at a Wells Fargo bank in Silver Spring.

The robberies were reported at the branch at 8701 Georgia Ave. on Jan. 21 and Feb. 21, police said. Surveillance images were posted to the police department’s official blog Thursday.

In the most recent incident, a teller described being approached by a man with a “large kitchen knife” who demanded cash.

In January, police said the same branch was robbed by a man who implied he had a weapon.

Police have asked people with information to call 866-411-8477(TIPS). Tipsters can remain anonymous.
