Two La Plata men have been indicted for an ongoing sexual relationship the two had with a 14-year-old girl last year.
Patrick Tyler Absher, 18, and Ronald Lee Blocker Jr., 21, both admitted to having sex with the girl at different times.
The men were taken into custody Oct. 27 but since have been released from commitment.
The victim told police about what had transpired between her and the two men while being examined for sexual assault Oct. 7 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, according to a police report.
The girl told officers that during the summer she had repeated sexual encounters with Blocker, during which she would smoke marijuana and drink alcohol with him and sometimes Absher.
The victim had one encounter with Absher at Blocker’s home, according to the police report.
While playing drinking games with Absher, the victim passed out. She awoke to Absher assaulting her, the report states.
During an interview with the police, Absher told officers that Blocker told him she was 14. Absher also told police that Blocker had recounted the tales of his encounters with the girl to him and had seen the two partially undressed in bed together at a hotel.
Absher is charged with second-degree sex offense involving an incapacitated person, conspiracy to commit a second-degree sex offense, sodomy, fourth-degree sex offense involving a person 14 or 15 years of age and second-degree assault. Blocker is charged with five counts of third-degree sex offense, second-degree sex offense involving an incapacitated person and conspiracy to commit a second-degree sex offense.
