Renee Garcia has been promoted to guest services manager at St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf.

Garcia’s responsibilities include overseeing the daily operations of the guest services desk, supervising the implementation of the mall’s gift card program, coordinating Simon Kidgits Club events and managing new membership sales and renewals.

“We are thrilled to have Renee on board with us as guest services manager,” Cristina Montanez, area director of marketing and business development at the mall, said in a company news release. “Her strong organizational and management skills, along with her previous experience at St. Charles Towne Center, make Renee a valuable member of our team.”

Garcia had worked as an administrative assistant at the mall. She was responsible for handling the daily operations of the management office, sales input for all retailers and Simon Kidgits Club coordination. She also assisted leasing representatives with new lease agreements and handled customer service inquiries. Her previous experience at St. Charles Towne Center has helped Garcia make a smooth transition into her new role as guest services manager, the news release states.

“It has been a privilege working with St. Charles Towne Center for the past two years, and I’m proud to take on this new role,” Garcia said in the release. “Guest services is the hub of the mall, and I look forward to leading the management efforts of such an excellent team.”
