An early morning crash Monday in Prince George’s County left a Newburg man dead.
According to Prince George’s County police reports, 27-year-old Cody Lowry was traveling north on Route 210 when a Cadillac traveling southbound lost control and veered into the northbound side, striking Lowry’s vehicle head-on.
Officers arrived on the scene at about 2:35 a.m. according to a blog post from the police department.
Lowry later was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
The driver of the Cadillac was listed in stable but serious condition.
Prince George’s County police spokesman Cpl. Nate Lewis said Tuesday that no charges have been filed against the Cadillac driver, and no further information on Lowry was available.
