Rotten 2 the Core Kidz Spa is celebrating its a grand opening June 7 at its second location in the Bowie Town Center.
Karen Thomas is the shop’s owner.
Rotten 2 the Core Kidz Spa provide an array of services from manicures, pedicures and makeup, to lessons on walking the runway for children 2 to 16.
Most of the grand-opening activities will be spa-related, according to a news release, but there also will be characters for photo ops, music, prizes, food and games.
The event is sponsored by African Pride (Dream Kids), Egyptian Magic, Pretzel Crisps, Luck Star Style Nail Decals, Mini & Meez, Natasha’s Just Brittle and Geddes School Supplies. The first 50 girls will receive swag bags and additional bags will be given out while supplies last.
“R2C prides itself on building self-confidence from the core and inspiring young women to be confident, smart, caring, kind, powerful and mindful that true beauty comes from within while delivering the ultimate girl experience,” Thomas said in the release.
Her first store is in the St. Charles Towne Center in Waldorf.
