After blowing out Huntingtown on Tuesday, the Leonardtown boys lacrosse team entered the Class 4A-3A East region final against Severna Park on Wednesday, knowing it would have to battle to pull off the upset on its home field.
As the rain continued to fall late last week and into the early part of this week, La Plata had to watch its bats sit in bags, not being used.
