Five generations recently celebrated the birth of Hope Elizabeth Jordan of La Plata.
Hope, held, by her great-great grandfather, Ernest Garrison of Mechanicsburg, Pa., left, visited with her great-grandmother, Jean Furnish of Oxon Hill, grandmother, Linda Miller of Waldorf and father, David W. Jordan Jr. of La Plata.
Chrissy Jordan of La Plata is Hope's mother.
