CSM class to help parents talk to teens about sexual risks

TALK OF THE TOWN
A new class at the College of Southern Maryland this fall aims to empower parents to talk to their teenage children about a variety of subjects — especially reasons to postpone having sex. “It’s choosing the harder right over the easier wrong,” said Dari McGinnis, director of outreach education at Care Net Pregnancy Center of Southern Maryland.
