Volunteers Leona Unkle, left, of Leonardtown and Mary Ellen Moore of California, Md., were having fun working on blankets Saturday at the Calvert/St. Mary's Project Linus Make-A-Blanket Day at the Southern Community Center in Lusby. The two groups hoped to take in or complete 200 to 250 blankets for distribution to children at hospitals and shelters in the two counties.
