Thursday April 10

Charles County Commission for Women will meet April 10 at 6:30 p.m. at the county government building, 200 Baltimore St., La Plata. Call 301-632-2826.

Maryland Department of Natural Resources will present a draft of blue crab regulations at a joint Sport Fish and Tidal Fish Advisory Commission meeting from 7-9 p.m. April 10 at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis. Fourth and 5th Districts Democratic Club of Charles County will meet April 14 at Shymansky’s Restaurant, Cobb Island. Charles County Commission for Women will hold an awards banquet from 6-8:30 p.m. April 18 at the Jaycees center, 3090 Crain Highway, Waldorf. The speaker will be Candice Quinn Kelly, former Charles County commissioner. Cost is $40 per person and includes a reception, cash bar and dinner.
