Wood and Variz marry

In attendance were the bride’s parents, John and Lisa Faunce and Mark Wood; her grandparents, Donnie and Isabel Williams and Garland and Mary Jane Wood; and friend of the bride, Wendy Harnish.

Donna Cameron and Lisa Variz, the groom’s mother and sister were also in attendance. Ed Variz, father of the groom, resides in San Jose, Calif.

The bride earned her degree from Lancaster General College in nursing and health sciences.

She is employed as a sonographer in the radiology department of St. Mary’s Hospital.

The groom is employed part time and is pursuing a degree in history with a minor in education at St. Mary’s College of Maryland in St. Mary’s City.

The couple honeymooned on a Caribbean cruise and now resides in Mechanicsville.
