Joseph William Milstead Sr., 70, of Medford, Ore., formerly of St. Mary’s County, died April 19, 2008. A service was held at Eternal Hills Chapel on April 24.
Michael William Mirfield, 55, of Capon Bridge, W.Va., formerly of St. Mary’s County, died April 21, 2008. A memorial service was held April 26 at Giffin Funeral Home in Capon Bridge.
Ronald Allen Sisk, 41, of Drum Point, Lusby, died April 29, 2008. The family received friends May 4 at Rausch Funeral Home in Port Republic. Funeral services were held May 5 at Christ Episcopal Church.
Lewis Patrick ‘‘Pat” Thomas, 50, of Fort Washington, formerly of Chaptico, died May 3, 2008. The family will receive friends today, May 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, with prayers at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated May 8 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church in Chaptico. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Queen of Peace Cemetery in Helen.
May Lee Strange, 91, of Chesapeake, Va., died April 25, 2008. A funeral service was held April 29 at Rosewood–Kellum Funeral Home. Full obituaries will be published at a later date.
