Ganzer and Jones marry

The couple was married at Our Lady’s Church at Medley’s Neck on Nov. 17, 2007, and the ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Thomas G. LaHood. A reception followed the ceremony at J.T. Daugherty Center in Lexington Park.

The bride graduated from St. Mary’s College of Maryland with a bachelor’s degree in English.

The groom graduated from the College of Southern Maryland with an associate’s degree in general studies. He is enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and is stationed in Beaufort, S.C.

Maid of honor was Autumn George and matron of honor was Kim Jones. Bridesmaids were Christen Reynolds, cousin of the bride; and Tamera Cooksey. The best man was Mitch Jones, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Joseph Ganzer, Fred Christian and Ed Christian.

The couple is planning to honeymoon this month at Disney World in Orlando, Fla. They reside in Beaufort.
