Achieving peace through words Friday, May 9, 2008
Students at Park Hall Elementary School participate in an assembly held after students achieved 75 schoolwide peace days. The school defines a peace day as a day when all conflicts are resolved peacefully, using words, not actions. To help celebrate the accomplishment, Great Mills High School cheerleaders and the Hornet mascot visited Park Hall and led students in cheers they’d created about Park Hall’s school colors and school rules — be respectful, be responsible, be peaceful.
