Preston Leroy Wade, 59, of Accokeek died of natural causes May 5, 2008, at his home.
He was born May 27, 1948 in Washington, D.C., the son of John Leroy Wade and Pearl A. Savoy Wade.
In addition to his parents, survivors include friend Yvonne Brooks; son, Conrad Young and his wife, Chanita; six sisters; three brothers; eight grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service at noon at Spirit of Faith Church, 14107 Gibbons Church Road, Brandywine. Burial will be at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Adams Funeral Home, Aquasco.
