Melissa Green, valedictorian from The King's Christian Academy in Callaway, gets a hug from her father John Green while her mother Shari Green looks on. The school held a graduation for its 11 seniors Friday at the Southern Calvert Baptist Church. Graduation ceremonies at other St. Mary's County schools are scheduled to continue this week.
