Anelisa Graessle, 4, of California gets a lift on a fire truck's tower ladder along with family friend Patsy Schumacher and Bay District volunteer firefighter Matthew Duncan on Thursday at the EMS for Children Day in Leonardtown. St. Mary's County Advanced Life Support Unit partnered with other emergency service agencies for the event, which featured bike safety by the sheriff's office, fire safety by Ridge Volunteer Fire Department, ambulance tours, injury prevention tips and other fun and educational events.
