2 charged with drug offenses

Martin Cain Felder Jr., 29, of North Potomac and Gelly S. Rivas, 20, of Annandale, Va., were released Tuesday on $25,000 bond each after their arrest on charges including the possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
Trooper L.N. Nims of the Maryland State Police stopped a speeding Ford Excursion on Route 235 in Hollywood on Monday night, court papers state, and the officer smelled marijuana in the vehicle. The trooper found two small bags of marijuana, weighing a total of about 8 grams, and four bundles of money totaling $1,992, according to a statement of probable cause detailing the results from a search of the vehicle and the two suspects.
