Hearing on growth plan set

The St. Mary's County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Monday, June 22, at 6:30 p.m. at the Bay District Fire Department social hall in Lexington Park to review the comprehensive growth plan. As many as 1,000 properties could see zoning changes as recommended in the draft document and mailings were sent out to those owners.
The document can be found at www.stmarysmd.com. Click on land use and growth management under the Services box, then click on public hearing documents. Print copies are at the county's libraries and at the public information office at the governmental center campus. CDs of the document are available at the office of land use and growth management in the Patuxent Building of the governmental center in Leonardtown.
