Tom Earnest, broker/owner of Century 21 Comstock Earnest Inc., Realtors announced June 8 that Century 21 Real Estate LLC recently recognized sales associate Cheryl Bare with the Century 21 Grand Centurion Producer award following her successful 2008 sales totals.

The Grand Centurion Producer award is presented to Century 21 System sales associates who earn $627,000 in sales production or 180 closed transaction sides within a calendar year.

Bare was presented with a Grand Centurion statue and lapel pin, in addition to being recognized before her peers at the Century 21 International Convention.

"Receiving the Grand Centurion Producer award is a tremendous accomplishment for Cheryl Bare and is testament to her unwavering commitment to professional excellence and customer satisfaction," Earnest said. "Cheryl Bare is a valued and trusted real estate resource for the Southern Maryland community and a major contributor to the overall success of Century 21 Comstock Earnest Inc., Realtors and the Century 21 System as a whole. Her work ethics are simply impeccable."

Bare has more than 20 years experience in the real estate industry and has been with the Century 21 System for 12 years.

She currently lives in Calvert County with her husband Jimmy and their three children.

She was a teacher in Charles and Calvert counties prior to going into real estate full time.

Bare specializes in residential sales representing buyers and sellers with resales and new construction.

Her skills in marketing and a thorough understanding of the market make her a highly sought-after Realtor, according to a press release.

She sells an average of 110 homes a year and works primarily on referrals from past clientele. She has been the top agent in Southern Maryland as well as all of Maryland for the past six years and last year ranked No. 13 in the world.

"I am so thankful to all the buyers, sellers and other real estate professionals who I have worked with in 2008," Bare said. "I am especially thankful for all the friends, past students and parents from schools as well as previous clients who have sent me referrals. I am so passionate about helping buyers and sellers achieve their goals.

"I feel very fortunate to be in this business and never take it for granted. What a blessing waking up every day and do something you love,"she added.
