The Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration will close its full-service and express offices Friday and Saturday in observance of the Independence Day holiday. All vehicle emissions inspection program stations will also be closed.

La Plata Town Hall will be closed July 3 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Trash that is normally picked up on Fridays will be collected July 2. No yard waste will be picked up July 3. For water or sewer emergencies, call the town hall at 301-934-8421 and leave a message.

Indian Head Town Hall will be closed July 3 in observance of the Fourth of July holiday. Trash normally picked up Fridays will be collected on the next regularly scheduled trash day. For water or sewer emergencies, call the Charles County Sheriff's Office District 2 station at 301-743-2222.
