Wilma Jean Fajans, 73, of Cobb Island died June 26, 2009, at Civista Medical Center, La Plata.
She attended La Plata High School and graduated in 1953. She worked as a software engineer for GRD Inc. She was a member of the Cobb Island Yacht Club and enjoyed cross stitching and arranging silk and dried flowers for corporate customers. She was of the Catholic faith.
Born Dec. 23, 1935, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth Turner Snapp and the late Glenn Snapp.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Mattingly and Charles Mattingly.
She is survived by her husband J. Roger Fajans; and other relatives.
Service and burial will be private.
