Five injured in crash Friday, July 4, 2008
Four people were flown by helicopter from a Wednesday accident at the intersection of St. Charles Parkway and Billingsley Road. According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, a Toyota RAV4 traveling south on St. Charles Parkway failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a white Kia minivan in the intersection. Three children between the ages of 5 and 10 were passengers in the minivan. A helicopter flew the children and the RAV-4 driver from the scene, according to police. An ambulance transported the driver of the minivan away from the accident. All were treated for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
