Shaquita Claggett, 8, of Sunderland got an American flag painted on her face Saturday at Traders Seafood, Steak and Ale in Chesapeake Beach during the restaurant's pre-fireworks party for young and old. Below right, William Muller, 1 1/2, of Hollywood gets towed around by his mother Amy Muller Saturday at the public beach in North Beach. The Mullers were planning a cookout with family later in the day and enjoying the Chesapeake Beach fireworks display later that evening. The beautiful weather attracted a good crowd to the beach.
