The Jerry Franks Youth Contact Football Camp will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 21-24 at Huntingtown High School.

Kids ages 6 to 14, including incoming high school freshmen. The cost is $105 and includes a T shirt.

Summer sports camps

Calvert County Parks and Recreation is accepting registration for the following camps: Golf at Mellomar Golf Park (July 21-24), Soccer at Hallowing Point Park (July 21-25), flag football at Southern Middle School (July 21-25), girls lacrosse camp at Hallowing Point Park (Aug. 4-8) and field hockey camp at Hallowing Point Park (Aug. 9-13).

Patuxent contact football camp

Patuxent High football will hold a Youth Contact Camp from 3 to 8 p.m. July 21-24 at Patuxent High School in Lusby.

The camp is open to players ages 6 to 13 and is run by Steve Crounse, the Patuxent High varsity football coach. .

The fee is $110 ($75 for members of the Solomons Steelers) and family discounts are available.
