Seltzer and Jenkins marry

Joyce Seltzer and the Rev. John Seltzer of Fallston announce the marriage of their daughter, Gwendolyn Anne Seltzer, to Aric Alan Jenkins, son of Barbara Jenkins and the late William Jenkins.

On June 13, 2009, a ceremony officiated by the Rev. J. Walter Nilsson was held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Cumberland. A reception at Rock Gap Resort in Cumberland followed.

The bride received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders and her master's in hearing and speech sciences. She works as a speech language pathologist with St. Mary's public schools

The groom received his bachelor of science degree in aerospace engineering and his master's in aerospace engineering. He is employed as an aerospace engineer with Naval Air Systems Command.

The maid of honor was Amy McAllister, sister of the bride, of Yorktown, Va. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Borkowski of Amsterdam, N.Y., friend of the bride, of Amsterdam; Azure McAllister of Dorchester, Mass., friend of the bride; and Rebecca Patrode of Saratoga, N.Y., friend of the bride.

Best man was Bill Jenkins of Capon Bridge, W.Va., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Patrick Jenkins of Winchester, Va., brother of the groom; Aran Jenkins of Charleston, W.Va., brother of the groom; and Michael Edmunds of Gill, Colo., brother-in-law of the groom.

Flower girls were Hannah and Cailyn McAllister of Yorktown, nieces; and Rhianna Edmunds of Gill. Ring bearer was Shane Edmunds of Gill, nephew.
