She was born July 10, 1952, in Harrisville, W.Va., to Nellie Webb of Cairo, W.Va., and the late Junior Lewis Webb.

She was a manager at the local Sears store where she worked for 34 years. She enjoyed gardening, rides on country roads and boating.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Roger Webb.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, James R. Degges; daughter, Brandy Lynn Brady-Anderson of New Baltimore, Va.; siblings, Randy Webb of Bowling Green, Ky., Regina McCombs of Brownsville, Ky., Reina Perkins of Cadiz, Ky., and Roy Webb of Brownsville, Ky.; sister-in-law, Anita Jones of Davisville, W.Va.; and nephew, Rodney Webb of Parkersburg, W.Va.

Family received friends Sept. 26 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton, Va.

Funeral services were held Sept. 27.

Interment was held at the family cemetery on the Neeld Property in Calvert County.

John Gabriel Driscoll, infant, Chesapeake Beach

John Gabriel Driscoll, infant, of Chesapeake Beach died Sept. 24, 2008, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James V. Surber; and paternal grandfather, Edward R. Driscoll.

He is survived by parents, Gerald and Caroline Driscoll; brother, Julian Driscoll; maternal grandparent, Virginia Surber of Chesapeake Beach; paternal grandparent, Alyce Driscoll of Torrington, Conn.; and maternal great-grandfather, Albert Folli of Little Rock, Ark.

Funeral services were held Sept. 28 at Grace Brethren Church of Calvert County in Owings.

The Rev. Jay McKinley officiated.

Interment was private.
