Anchor is a 42-bed facility in Charlotte Hall.
It provides intensive residential treatment for adults suffering from alcohol or drug abuse problems, counseling, family education and aftercare services.
‘‘We are extremely grateful for the support of Maryland Bank and Trust,” Kathleen O’Brien, executive director of Walden, said. ‘‘This donation will help support critical programs such as Anchor, as well as an array of counseling and crisis intervention services for Southern Maryland residents.”
