Board of Education of Charles County has scheduled a question-and-answer forum about the proposed next new high school, planned for Piney Church Road in Waldorf, from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at Mary B. Neal Elementary School. The session will focus exclusively on the next proposed high school and is open for county residents to come and have questions answered about the school, the building process and plans.

Neal is at 12105 St. George's Drive, Waldorf.

Charles County Commissioner Reuben B. Collins II (D) and Citizens for a Better Charles County will co-sponsor a briefing on water issues in Charles County at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at the Capital Clubhouse, 3003 Waldorf MarketPlace, Waldorf.

The new CPV power plant's proposed use of groundwater, falling levels of water in Charles County aquifers, the forthcoming introduction of Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission water for use in the Waldorf area, among other issues, will be the focus
