Vampire Manor

The Charles County Dive Rescue team's annual haunted house, Vampire Manor, will continue through Oct. 31. Hours are 7:30-10 p.m. Thursdays and 7:30-11 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Tickets are $10, $5 for children younger than 12. Proceeds benefit local nonprofit organizations. The event is at 9410 Irving Road, Bel Alton. Bluegrass for Hospice

Coordinated by Jay Armsworthy, Bluegrass for Hospice will begin at 7 a.m. Oct. 24 with an arts and crafts fair at Flat Iron Farm, Flat Iron Road, Great Mills. Local bluegrass bands will begin performing at noon. Danny Paisley & the Southern Grass will make a guest appearance. Bring a nonperishable food item. Proceeds will benefit Hospice of St. Mary's. Dig through Elly's Closet

An "upscale" women's consignment event will be held from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Oct. 23 and from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 24 at the FSA Old Auditorium at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds, 42455 Fairgrounds Road, Leonardtown. The event is free. According to a press release, women will be able to buy "gently worn" and "unworn" name brand apparel at a low cost. On Oct. 24, two fashion shows will be held at 11 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. Bring a canned food item. Some proceeds will benefit Health Share of St. Mary's.

‘Passionate Broadway'

Clare O'Shea will perform "Passionate Broadway" during a benefit for the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center from 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Oct. 24 at Fridays Creek Winery. The event features a wine tasting and will be held at 3485 Chaneyville Road, Owings. Fee is $50. Call 410-257-7228.
