Charles County Chamber of Commerce will host a "Network at Noon" luncheon at noon Oct. 28 at the Mattawoman Creek Arts Center, in Smallwood State Park, 5565 Upham Place, Marbury. Attendance for members is $20. Nonmembers pay $40. Call 301-932-6500.

Charles County Technology Council will hold its next Lunch & Learn noon-1:30 p.m. Oct. 29 at Prime Street Grille, U.S. 301, White Plains. Jeff Tjiputra, professor and chair of the College of Southern Maryland Business and Technology Division, and William Duncan of AmeriCorps VISTA for FIRST in Maryland, will present information about the upcoming robotics season and how area firms can participate. Cost is $5 entry fee for nonmembers. No entry fee for Charles County Chamber of Commerce members and tech council members.
