Charles County commissioners will hold a public hearing at 12:30 p.m. Nov. 3 on a proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance to remove language requiring the owner of the residential unit where an accessory apartment is located to reside in one of the dwelling units. Charles County commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1 p.m. Nov. 3 on the proposed bed and breakfast tourist homes text amendment. The amendment increases the maximum number of guests from five to eight and allows a bed and breakfast tourist home to be located in an existing dwelling unit which may include facilities in an existing accessory structure. Maryland Department of Human Resources is seeking comment on the possibility of revising the child support guidelines in Maryland.
