Robert Francis Burdette, 74, Clinton

Robert Francis Burdette, 74, of Clinton died Nov. 1, 2009, at Prince George's Hospital Center.

Born June 11, 1935, in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Edward F. Burdette and the late Birdie V. Sturgess.

He was retired from A&P. He was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church in Clinton.

He is survived by his son, John R. Hutchinson; his sisters, Ella L. Williams, Margaret A. Armas and Barbara E. Burdette; his brothers, George H. Burdette and Walter D. Burdette; and his grandchildren, Ryan and Laura Hutchinson.

The family will receive friends Nov. 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton. A service will be held Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Clinton United Methodist Church. Interment will place at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
