Robert Francis Burdette, 74, of Clinton died Nov. 1, 2009, at Prince George's Hospital Center in Cheverly.

He served in the U.S. Army and held the rank of E5.

He was employed with A&P until his retirement.

He was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church in Clinton.

He is survived by his son, John R. Hutchinson; brothers, George H. Burdette and Walter D. Burdette; sisters, Ella L. Williams, Margaret A. Armas, and Barbara E. Burdette; and grandchildren, Ryan R. Hutchinson and Laura R. Hutchinson.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 9, at Clinton United Methodist Church in Clinton.

Interment will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
