Dolly Elaine Richardson, 70, Cobb Island

Dolly Elaine Richardson, 70, of Cobb Island died Oct. 10, 2009.

She was born Jan. 17, 1939, in Parkland, the daughter of the late Marcellas A. Bowie and Eva Lenora Norton.

She worked in layout preparation and printing for B&B Acquisition Corporation. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Leonard Richardson; and her brother, Marcellas Bowie.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald, Lloyd and Gerald; daughters, Molly, Sandy and Lenora; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held Oct. 16 at Lee Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. James E. Chance officiating.

Burial followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland.
