Directed by Kerry Robinson, the Newtowne Players will perform the longest running, American musical, Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's "The Fantasticks," a renowned and classic tale of romance, family feud and daring rescue, from Nov. 6 through 22. Known for the song "Try to Remember," the show, like the song, invites the audience to recall the zest of youth and the passing of innocence, a press release states.
Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $15, $12 for senior citizens, students and military. Thursday tickets are $10. Three Notch Theatre is at 21744 S. Coral Drive, Lexington Park. Call 301-737-5447. Go to www.newtowneplayers.org.
