Outlet hosting toy run

Renegade Classics will be hosting its 5th Annual Toy Run on Saturday, Nov. 14. Registration begins at 10 a.m. at the store – 131 Central Square Drive, Prince Frederick – with a fee of $10 and one unwrapped, non-violent toy or $20 and no toy. Participants will receive an event T-shirt for registering.

Donations will go towards gift cards for children and to Catholic Charities. Leftover toys from last year went to the Safe Harbor shelter in Prince Frederick, Project ECHO, Calvert County Department of Social Services and local churches, according to a press release.

Participants will ride to St. Anthony's Church in North Beach, where nearly 100 children will be awaiting. The event will include a party, featuring door prizes and music from The IMPACT Band, at the Beach Cove restaurant in Chesapeake Beach. Activities will be held rain or shine, and all vehicles are welcome.
