La Plata Town Council and Charles County commissioners are scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. Nov. 18 in the commissioners' meeting room in the county government building, 200 Baltimore St., La Plata. Agenda items for the twice-yearly meeting include updates on a joint traffic study being conducted by the town and county and projected fire and rescue needs in La Plata because of the anticipated growth in town.
