Chesapeake Beach man killed

An 89-year-old Chesapeake Beach man was killed Friday when the car he was driving was hit on Willows Road.

Alfred Carlton Greene was driving a 1988 Dodge Lancer north east on Summer City Blvd., making a left turn onto Willows Road. According to the Calvert County Sheriff's Office, the Lancer failed to yield and was hit by a 2000 Toyota Tacoma that was going south. The Toyota struck the Dodge on the driver's side door. Greene and Shawn Harrison Reinhardt, 36, of Chesapeake Beach, the driver of the Toyota, were taken to Prince George's Hospital Center Trauma Unit by helicopter.

James Jerome Greene, 55, of Chesapeake Beach was a passenger in the Dodge and was taken to Calvert Memorial Hospital.
