Charles County government administrative offices and the Tri-County Animal Shelter will be closed Nov. 25.

Charles County Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk's Office will be open Nov. 25. Executive branch state offices will be closed Nov. 25, however, the courts will be open.

Thursday, Nov. 26

Charles County government offices and the Tri-County Animal Shelter will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 26-27. The county landfill, recycling center and composting facility in Waldorf and the Pisgah recycling center will be closed Nov. 26 only. Curbside recycling collection and the weekly yard waste collection service schedule will be as follows: Thursday B will be served Nov. 27 and Friday B will be Nov. 28. Call 301-932-3599.

La Plata Town Hall will be closed Nov. 26-27 for Thanksgiving. Thursday's trash will be picked up Nov. 25 and no yard waste will be collected Nov. 27. Call 301-934-8421.

Indian Head Town Hall will be closed Nov. 26-27 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Yard waste will be collected on Nov. 25. Thursday's and Friday's trash will be picked up on next regular pick-up day.

Charles County Circuit Court and the Circuit Court Clerk's Office will be closed Nov. 26-27. in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
